Isaac Burns is an editor based in New York City.

Most recently, he was the associate editor for the CBS documentary, Daughters of 9/11, and for the PBS American Experience documentary, Hard Hat Riot.

 

On the narrative side, he edited Katherine Propper's debut feature film Lost Soulz, which premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival and opened in theaters in May 2024. 

Prior to Lost Soulz, he was part of the editorial team for Terrence Malick's upcoming The Way of the Wind and an assistant editor for a variety of broadcast and streaming shows.

When he's not stuck behind an edit station, he likes reading books. His favorite reads from the past year were Lives of the Saints by Nancy Lemann and Farewell, My Lovely by Raymond Chandler.
